Lead Level Designer

We are currently working on several ambitious AAA projects and are looking for Lead Level Designer - an owner for new maps who can lead the level design team for one of them.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of level designers;
  • Ownership for maps;
  • Drive the creative vision and execution of levels, ensuring they support gameplay, narrative, and artistic goals;
  • Work closely with environment artists, narrative designers, and systems designers to deliver cohesive experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in level design for PC/console, including at least 1 shipped title owning full levels/missions;
  • Strong portfolio of first-person levels with combat, exploration, pacing, and clear player flow;
  • Confident in engine tools (Unreal), blockout to final, metrics, and basic scripting for events;
  • Deep understanding of how AI, cover, sightlines, and traversal interact with level layout;
  • Conversational Russian and English
  • Enjoy designing grounded, atmospheric, interconnected environments (tunnels, corridors, ruined structures, urban layouts, layered verticality).
    Bonus: co-op/multiplayer or systemic/sandbox level design experience.
