
Middle UE Technical Artist (Content Integration)
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve issues in art content by returning it for revision.
- Conduct overall audits of content provided by artists to ensure compliance with technical requirements and project standards.
- Assist in developing methods for optimizing content acceptance.
- Identify and solve common technical issues with content.
Requirements
- Proficient in Unreal Engine with experience in content quality control within this engine.
- Proficiency in Maya at a technical specialist level — setting up and configuring scenes, working with skins, bones, UVs.
- Experience working with LODs for skeletal meshes.
- Experience working with cloth simulations and rigs in Unreal Engine.
- Experience with Metahuman.
- Skills in diagnosing and solving content issues, including skinning, UV, scaling, and other aspects.
- Experience working with Editor Blueprints, as well as skills in automation and processing.
- Proficient in Unreal Engine tools for content optimization analysis: Mesh Merge, Modeling Utilities, Size Map, etc.
- Experience with Animation Blueprints, understanding their structure and functions, and ability to create custom ABPs.
- Experience integrating content into a game engine.
- Experience working with version control systems (Source Control) to manage the history and versions of content changes.
