Responsibilities

  • Ownership for maps;
  • Drive the creative vision and execution of levels, ensuring they support gameplay, narrative, and artistic goals;
  • Work closely with environment artists, narrative designers, and systems designers to deliver cohesive experiences

Requirements

  • 3+ years in level design for PC/console, with at least 1 shipped title or strong playable prototypes.
  • Portfolio of first-person levels showing solid combat spaces, exploration routes, and clear player flow.
  • Confident with engine tools (Unreal), from blockout to final, including metrics and simple scripting.
  • Good understanding of how AI paths, cover, sightlines, and traversal options shape encounters.
  • Conversational Russian and English (to communicate with team)
  • Enjoy designing grounded, atmospheric, interconnected environments (tunnels, corridors, ruined structures, urban layouts, layered verticality).

    • Bonus: experience with co-op or systemic/sandbox gameplay spaces.
