Responsibilities

We are looking for an employee to work on setting up realistic models of in-game vehicles and various mechanisms.
­
Main responsibilities:
­

  • Rigging and skinning realistic 3D models of vehicles and machinery.
  • Configuring vehicle physics parameters in the game engine (mass distribution, constraints, collisions, etc.).
  • Integrating and visually setting up vehicles in the game engine (LOD behavior, logic configuration for vehicle add-ons, etc.).

Requirements

What we expect:
­

  • Experience working in Autodesk Maya (or the ability to transition to this software from another 3D editor).
  • Strong knowledge of rigging/skinning tools and experience in this area, as well as basic modeling/texturing skills.
  • Experience working with game engines.
  • Understanding of rigid body simulations: physical properties, physical constraints, etc., and experience applying them.
  • A technical mindset and interest in automotive.
  • General understanding of scripting principles in any language.

A plus would be:
­

  • Experience with physics engines (Havok / PhysX / Bullet).
  • Experience working with proprietary game engines.
  • Experience writing scripts for automation/tool creation (Python).
